Honku Vanity

Deb Saia of El Cajon, California wins the title of "World's Greatest Honkuist" for going down to the state DMV and registering the personalized license plate you see when you click the link below. Deb's "honku" plate proudly hangs on a Mitsubishi Lancer, and she says that her next move will be to get one of those little plastic license plate frames inscribed with "the zen antidote to road rage." Though, at first I wasn't sure whether to send Deb a subpoena or a special, signed copy of my book, I got excited about the honku vanity plate concept pretty quickly. I mean, who'd have ever thought of publicizing a book on vanity plates? Now I'm wondering if we can get honku plates up and running in all 50 states.
